Channelled messages for April 7th, 8th and 9th 2017
This is a reminder of the importance of nurturing ourselves; this can be allowing for a guilty pleasure and indulging in something sweet or whatever you enjoy that you wouldn’t normally have, it can be indulging in a long bath and forgetting your cares for a bit, having a massage and just taking care of yourself for a bit. Whatever it is that we would call indulging, it’s all about taking some time just for ourselves and what we like this weekend. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day, or always caring for everyone around us but we should take some time just for ourselves this weekend, we’ve earned it, we deserve it. Another message about this is for us to indulge our own dreams, wishes and ideas. If something is a passion or we’ve always been interested in or curious about it (like Tarot, astrology, psychology, how plants can help, crystals etc.), now is the time to indulge that curiosity. Who knows what we end up experiencing and how our lives improve as a result.
This message is all about trying the “Yes” approach to life. This means that whatever invitation or opportunity we receive we say “yes” to, as opposed to turning away from it. This is a healthy attitude of having an open mind, being open to receiving, being spontaneous and in a flexible mindset. So let’s try this at least once this weekend and if we enjoy it, why not keep it up? The message also speaks about see everything as an opportunity, especially if it’s a less than desirable situation, and instead of stressing or getting worked up over what’s happening, trying to see where the opportunities are. It’s like the 5 of Cups in the Tarot, where something causes a change and the character in the card chooses to focus on the spilled milk, things that they cannot do anything about, when there are new and exciting opportunities right behind them which they could see only if they turn around and stop focusing on the negative aspects. We may have an opportunity to overcome a fear this weekend and we can do this by facing the fear and looking to learn from it, why are we afraid? what is it triggering within us? can it really hurt us? what can we learn from it? By asking these questions we can understand the fear and therefore overcome it because it will no longer have power over us.
As a result of indulging constructive curiosities and trying the “yes” approach we may find that we’re already changing our outlook, our attitudes, how we feel in general and this is wonderful change happening. So it’s ok to embrace it and to allow our new experiences to raise our vibrations and open our minds to new horizons, new mindsets, new attitudes. This could be the final stept that helps us cut ties with something or someone in the past, with old ways, patterns and behaviors. It could be that we finally have the strength to do what’s right for us, to put an end to a situation or finally stand up for ourselves as a result of having a new perspective on things and on our self-worth as well. For others of us this will simply be a natural transition from an old way of being to a new one, we’ve outgrown certain situations or groups of people in our lives so it’s only natural to move on to new circumstances that are in line with our new selves. Either way, it’s time for change, out with the old to make room for the new.
